B is for Baby Shower!
I dont know if its because of the Law of Attraction but it currently feels like everyone around me has either had a baby recently or about to have a baby! Its a baby, baby year and I love it as it means more little friends for my Anabelle to play with when she's older! :)
And ofcourse the other great thing about having a baby is having a baby shower!
My beautiful (& glowing) cousin Priscilla is due in February and I was delighted to help her celebrate and to create a beautiful desserts table for all her guests to enjoy.
I was very excited as it was my first go at making bunting, tissue paper pom-poms, cupcake toppers & Tim -Tam cookie pops! (which where delicouse!!!)
Here are some photo's of the of all the lovely details...

My Little Angel's Christening
In November we celebrated my little angel Anabelle's Christening and what better way to make this day special than by creating my very first desserts table. The day was just beautiful and Anabelle behaved so well considering how many times she was passed around for a cuddle with all the family! :)

Macaroon Madness!!!
It seems the current dessert trend at the moment are the amazing & delicous french Macaroons... I had first tried one (okay maybe 2..or 3) in Paris and it was love at first bite!
The cruchy first bite followed by the soft and gooey centre... simply Heaven!
Then I found them on a beautiful desserts table created by my lovely new friend Leanne from Mrs A in the Cove (check out all the amazing dessert tables she's created). She kindly revealed some places I could order them from for my little angels christening & naturally they where the first yummy thing to disappear of the table!

If your a food & TV lover then I'm sure you would have seen them on Masterchef Session 1, Adriano Zumbo & his Macaroon tower became very famous! So I purchased a cook book on Macaroons & decided to give it a go!
Here are some pictures of the end results!
I have to admit that I am definatly NO Masterchef when it comes to the kitchen & cooking but it is something I've started to develop a passion for... & as they say ... practise makes perfect! So stay tuned for more Macaroons!
If you'd like the me to post the reciepe I followed please let me know...

Well here I am finally creating my very first blog! I've been so inspired by reading everyone else blog & just love reading about all the creative things mummies in cyberland do once they've had children! I have always admired mum's who can raise 1, 2, 3 children (or more), run a household, run a business or work full-time & still find time to jump online & share with other people their stories, ideas or just simply something they love!
Well this year I've joined the mummy club! My little sunshine, Anabelle is 6 months old & finally after 6 months I've found my bearings & am getting my head around how to juggle it all... I've also found some time to create this little blog, in which i also hope to share with you a little about my life, my loves & passions...
So follow me on my journey as a new mum who's simply trying make her little dreams a reality...
